A Case Of The Blogging Blahs.

I've got it. I've got it bad.
There are too many blogs to read & too much to do.
I keep forgetting to take photos of things & most days the idea of climbing up to the loft puts me off going on the computer all together.
I'm not making anything, or doing anything much that I can truly deem 'blog-worthy'. So I'm cutting down. For quite some time I have been endeavouring to post once a day, but now that just seems forced & I'm not loving it.
I'm not apologising - if I did I know I'd get many "no need to be sorry!" comments - just letting you know, if you are one of the few that drop by most days. Sounds like a farewell but I assure you it isn't... I just need to get back in my blogging groove & it might be a new groove - a 2 day groove or a 3 day groove, we shall see.

  1. Hi Vic! Sorry I have been a bit slack with my commenting but I am still alive!Congratulations on bubba #2 - just looking at the ultrasound makes me cluckly - the Mr keeps running away just in case I try to nail him for another bub! Scarlett is a beautiful name - I don't know wether it is just my brain that doesn't work but it never really occured to me that Punky was anything other than Punky!

  4. I cut back from one post a day to a couple a week, have more people commenting when I do, and a spike in followers. Go figure. Like you, it was too much. It wasn't why I started and it was starting to feel like work - which for me, is already deadline orientated. Do what makes ya happy. We'll be here when you do.

  6. My dear girl, you do put way too much pressure on yourself. Needing to blog daily, needing to comment on your comments. While we love your dedication, you have just moved house, are growing a new bub and quite possibly have a few other priorities besides keeping us amused over our morning cuppa every day :)

  7. I think I've got a serious case of the blogging blahs too. Some days I just trawl the titles and say 'it's all tooo boring'. How could I ever think craft is boring! But I hold firmly to the idea that my blog is about my craft and don't think I need to blog more than I do because it is not about making money or keeping up with anyone else. At nearly 200 posts I am passed that. Enjoy your life too. Cherrie

  10. Babe, I can relate - here I am for a catch up after a LONG time of not visiting, bleh... But what a catch up it's been! Real names, baby scans, what else have I missed?! I go with the slogan 'Blogging Without Obligation' (it has a cute little badge, too!) You blog however works for you, just remember it's supposed to be fun, OK? xx

  12. You are the inspiration that got me blogging, Vic. Once or twice a week, if that. Which is about how often i remember to check yours, so I say your new tempo is perfect.
