Well. I gave it a go. Blogging. It's not for me.
It's ridiculous but it's always in the back of my mind, or rather, the fact that I am not "doing" it is....
I am resolving to spend less time on the computer, much less & getting more done around the house, crafting wise, housework wise & hanging out with Punky wise... the well being she will have from being played with, taught & loved will stay with her much longer than any novel enjoyment she might get out of reading about how I played with, taught or love her!!
I might leave this up for a week or so before I delete it, you never know, I might change my mind... but somehow... I think I won't.
That's a shame. I'll miss your posts. I don't comment often enough sorry. But I do read every post :D I have the bike trailer so was really interested in the post you did on bicycle carriers and your tutu was so cute.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll reconsider. It's a great way to record your craftyness and the kids growing up. I've been blogging a couple of years now and Look back at the earlier posts sometimes and read things I didn't remember doing!
You can also have your blog printed into a book, which I want to do for my kids to have a great record of their childhood. You never know they may pass it to their grandchildren so they remember their greatgrandmother :D
Aw Tracy - thanks so much for taking the time to post this, it's very sweet of you.
ReplyDeleteI really just don't think I will/can keep up with this, as well as everything else, but like I said, I'll keep it here for a bit & see if I change my mind. The book idea is a great one!!
I sound like such a sook whinging about time to do things when I only have one kidlet... and YOU, mamma extroadinare seem to find 27 in hours in everyday... ;)
boo hoo hoo. Could you not use it more like a diary where you record short & sweet happenings of your day? This way it would only take a couple of minutes of your time (before bed or when Punky is napping) yet you will have captured the stuff that in years to come you might forget -(trust me & Tracy - you do forget). Anyway, we support you whatever you choose but it has been fun reading about your adventures with the Punk!
ReplyDeleteIts a sad day in Blogland as news filters in from horseses mounths that the frollicking blogerama "Punky's Mamma" is set to call it a day. What will become of the site... will it be excavated and converted into a used car sales lot? will it become a dusty urban streetscape, littered with crushed cans and rusty shopping trolleys? whatever the outcome, we will lament its demise like a missing tooth. farewell, fair Punk, and viva la Vic. may we still read snippets of your story in rainbow graffiti in unlikely places.
